So the question is, how do you tell if a person loves you enough?
enough to fight the world for you?
enough to not believe what the haters have to say about you?
enough to stay with you forever?
enough to stay by your side when every little particle stands against you?
What is the cutting line?
Or wait. Is that asking for too much?
Too many questions yet i get no answers.
A few months back i was all about living in the moment, going with the flow. Spontaneous was my best friend.
Feels like today I'm stepping into the real world. Life's too complicated to be that cute.
Decisions. Decisions. Decisions.
I'm in desperate need of hardcore advice. But seems as if the only helping hand I'm going to get is the one on the end of my own arm.
Just answer this for me; should i do the right thing? or should i go for what i really want?
The problem is, i still haven't figured the difference.
Ah. forget it.

She looked down at him with her same sad searching eyes. She didn't give any ground, held her gaze, gripping his hand even tighter, until he looked away.
As we walked along the concrete road i couldn't help but notice water tickling down her eyes..
He shoved away her hand and ran after his ball. She continued to stare. Her eyes never left him.
She ran after him, catching up almost easily yet breathless. She was aging, maybe 38? 39?
It worried me. I could have tried to stop her but i knew it would be useless.
She wanted to spend every minute with him, after all the weekends were not enough to last the whole week.
She missed him. She missed us too. But it was different for him because she felt that he needed her more than we did. Because he was just six. I was eighteen. Shanzay was fifteen.
But we needed her just as much. We were just considered too old to protest.
I watched as she walked ahead beside him, flashing that smile that i hardly ever got to see.
I looked at Shanzay and through our tears we smiled too.

INCOMPLETE.
I haven't seen her in days..
I'm pretty much used to them being gone and hardlyever seeing them around anymore but at times that empty incomplete feeling breaks through my shield and takes over.

*YAWNS*
Don't blame me for feeling sleepy again. That little afternoon nap doesn't count, people kept disturbing me anyway. Maybe Ehab's over-sleeping is contagious. Who knows.
Imma go crash in a bit.
There is so much to do tomorrow. Still haven't booked that place for prom. I'm so lazy, I'll make Hassan do it. The exams have officially killed me. Still got two more to go; literature paper 3 and psychology. I cant believe how prom is the only highlight of this summer. I had so many plans. See that's what happens when you make too many too-good-to-be-true plans, none of them happen. Blah. Life sucks.
I'd rather live in my dreams.
Night people.
