Despite the very unplanned and unpredictable future - as for now - there are only a few things I'm absolutely certain about.
First, my very first book is going to be a memoir.
Second, love isn't the only thing I can fall back on - art and writing have saved my life.
Third, I'm hopelessly and heartbreakingly terrified of the dark (note to self: buy a flashlight to survive in the darkest hours of the night).
Fourth, every once in a while a stranger shows up in each one of our lives and teaches us the importance of who we are.
Fifth, I'm actually really 20 years old (wow).
Sixth, you remember that cliched idea about how your blood is your only true family? Bullshit.
Seventh, you are able to experience absolute happiness after buying a pair of killer heels you can barely walk in.
Eighth, stay away from sickly dying cats - they bite.
Ninth, the saddest thing in the world: when you have to replace a picture in your photo frame with a picture of another person.
The future is a very unpredictable place, as a wise man once said, "Forget the past because you cant change it, forget the future because you don't know it , and forget about the present because i didn't get you one... xD
ReplyDeleteAny way, the point is that even though the future is uncertain, but some-things are crystal clear and very evident, even through all our stupid insecurities and fears. Cats..!! Yikes!! Dying cats, Living cats, there are so many! How do you tell the difference?? And its a pain in the behind to get your shots after getting bit by an animal. Killer heels? I wonder why girls love heels so much ? Enough to buy them in the first place? And people come and go, but indeed one stranger walks into your life and turns your whole life around, be it at a stupid party that you've crashed, reminds me of the alchemist book.. while trying to find the treasure, he realizes that the journey itself was a pathway to self discovery and he finds something so much better - "the Treasure". Pictures are merely just colorful or black and white images, its what they show that hits the heart, the moment we once knew, once lived, good/bad, happy/sad, its the memories that stay with us, and each time we look at the picture we are reminded. They say that a photograph captures the essence of that moment, preserving it forever, or till the picture lasts. Any how memories always stay. As some one close to me once said, If What ever happens remember, that i did, i do , and i always will "remember" YOU.. Its was somethings along those lines.. :P but heck its true. Love is a very important thing, and even though you think its not the only thing you can rely upon, which at times is true, but remember its love that inspires us to write, to draw, to paint, to "CREATE". And with out love or Passion there is no Art or Culture, we need love as much as love needs us.
